The Rochester Historical Society has announced the winners of the children’s photo contest, chosen by voters at the Rochester Country Fair in August.

Joseph Weigel won first place, Sophie Machaelis took home second and Owen Weigel earned third place. The prizes were $75, $50 and $25 respectively, with the runners up awarded gift certificates from Captain Bonney’s.

The pictures will be on display at the Historical Society Church/Museum at 355 County Road, Rochester. Stop by during the monthly speakers meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. or during the open house on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9-3 p.m. The museum will also be open every Sunday in October from 1-3 p.m.
