Women finish first in Tiara 5K

In fitting fashion, the top five finishers of the Tiara 5K on Mother’s Day were women.
Rebecca Cotugno finished first, with a time of 21:07, and was followed by Julie Craig, Gina Shield, Janytzabell Rodriguez-Ramos and Erin Carr. The top male finisher was Shane McNamara at 21:46.
The Tiara 5K raises money for the Women’s Fund, and has become the organizations biggest fundraising event. In the spirit of raising money for women and Mother’s Day, the first thing Cotugno said after crossing the finish line was, “I have to find my mom!”
