ROCHESTER — The Sippican Rod and Gun Club is hosting their annual NRA Women-On-Target firearm safety course from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 215 Dexter Lane, Rochester on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The program’s morning session will teach the NRA Home Firearm Safety Course which qualifies participants to apply for a Massachusetts License-To-Carry (LTC), or Firearms Identification (FID) card. Following  lunch, the ladies will be given practical and safe shooting experience individually by rotating through the club’s pistol range, 50 and 100 yard rifle ranges, and shotgun trap range.

There is a $95 fee for this course. The fee includes training materials, eye and ear protection which for participants to keep.
