From Aug. 1 to Aug. 17, the Plumb Library will be collecting nonperishable food in lieu of fines for the annual summer edition of “Food for Fines.”  Patrons can clear overdue fines with nonperishable food donations, which will be donated to Damien’s Pantry, or pet food, which will go to local animal shelters.  Food donations cannot be used to pay for lost books or cards, or printing and fax fees.  For more information, ask in person at the circulation desk, or call the library at 508-763-8600.
