Volunteers are needed for two occasions in August and September to benefit the Plumb Library. On Aug. 17 and 18, helpers are needed to staff the library’s Rochester Country Fair table. Volunteers will be selling used books. Those interested should contact a Friends of the Library board member or the library director.

Volunteers are also needed for the annual book sale set for Saturday, Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A preview sale is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Helpers are needed to move books from the library basement to the Congregational Church Hall, sell books on Friday and Saturday, and clean up after 3 p.m. on Saturday. Sign-up sheets are available in the library. For more information, call 508-763-8600.
