A “Gingerbread House” Gala and Silent Auction charity fundraiser will be held Thursday, Dec. 5 to benefit the Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity. There will be a free gingerbread house contest with prizes. All entries will be auctioned off to benefit Habitat. Entry forms are available by calling 508-758-4517.

Hors d’oeuvres, wine, artisanal beer, desserts and coffee will be served. There will be music by pianist Al Russo and local choirs. The gala takes place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Marion Music Hall. Tickets are a $50 donation for adults and $5 for children younger than 18. Tickets may be purchased on line at www.BuzzardsBayHabitat.org. Habitat raises funds to make affordable homes for families.
