Daniel Renwick is the recipient of this Superintendent’s Certificate of Academic Excellence this year. Superintendent Doug White gave Renwick the award at the Old Rochester School Committee meeting on Wednesday night.

White said Renwick arrived at ORR as a sophomore and signed up for the most challenging courses offered. Second in his class, Renwick also has a 4.468 grade point average and got a perfect score on the SAT for U.S. history.

Renwick has been on the baseball, hockey and track teams. He plans to continue with track at Williams College in the fall.
