Groundbreaking ceremony for library renovation is Sept. 30

Sep 26, 2017

The Elizabeth Taber Library's renovation is set to officially begin.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the library on Saturday, September 30 at 2:30 p.m.

The renovation project is for the "Margeurite K. Repass Garden and Library Entrance." Longtime donor and former library director Peggy Repass is footing the bill for the renovation, and will manage the project herself.

The new renovation will ameliorate concerns over disabled residents' access to the building, by creating an access ramp and gardens for all visitors to enjoy.

Taber Library director director Elizabeth O'Neill said that brief speeches would be made, and refreshments would be available.
