Healthy Tri-Town Coalition to meet October 24
The Healthy Tri-Town Coalition is holding its next meeting on October 24, in the Old Rochester Superintendent's Conference Room. The meeting will be held from 9-10 a.m.
Coalition members hope to collaborate with all community members to address youth drug abuse, depression and anxiety, and violence.
Interested trit-town residents are invited to learn more about the Coalition, add input on the Coalition's goals, and support efforts by members to educate the public.
The Healthy Tri-Town Coalition was formed in response to a youth risk behavior which identified several areas of concern among the surveyed students: 1) substance abuse; 2) depression/suicidal thoughts; 3) relational violence. Our goal is to prevent health crises for our youth and for all community members.
