Learn about ticks and tick prevention on Nov. 4

Oct 16, 2017

Ticks are active all year long—and new varieties, like the Lone Star tick, are appearing. On Saturday, November 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the Mattapoisett Library Meeting Room, entomologist Blake Dinius will talk about ticks on the South Coast. Dinius will discuss the facts on ticks, the diseases they carry, and proven methods of tick protection.

This event is jointly sponsored by the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Mattapoisett Woman's Club. For more information, email info@mattlandtrust.org.
