Selectmen Chair Jody Dickerson will not run for re-election this spring after 15 years as a selectman.

“I’ve enjoyed it, and I’ve enjoyed working with my colleagues,” he said.

Dickerson also thanked Town Administrator Paul Dawson and his assistant Debbie Paiva for their work.

“[Dawson] probably has the most thankless job in any community,” he said. “I’ve worked with five Town Administrators over the years, and he’s the most professional I’ve ever worked for. He does a fantastic job.”

The next election will be in May.

“You still have five months,” Selectman Norm Hills said. “No slacking off.”
