Tabor and ORR offer digital safety lecture for parents

The ORR School District and Tabor Academy are joining forces to offer a free evening lecture on digital safety.

The lecture, intended for parents, is by technology consultant and digital safety expert Katie Greer. It will be held at Tabor Academy on February 2 at 6:30 p.m., in the Fireman Center for Performing Arts in Hoyt Hall at 235 Front Street, Marion, MA.

Katie Greer is a nationally-recognized digital safety expert and Advisory Board Member for The Internet Keep Safe Coalition (iKeepSafe). She speaks with students and families across the country about the appropriate use of technology.

This talk is applicable to parents with children in grades 6-12 and will help them find strategies to navigate the digital world with their children. Greer will clarify the trends and challenges for each age level, providing parents with proactive initiatives to keep their children safe and aware online.
