All schools in Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester will be closed on Tuesday, March 13 in anticipation of the impending storm, Superintendent Doug White announced.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning, beginning at 11 p.m. on Monday, and ending at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

A blizzard warning means severe winter weather conditions, such as falling and blowing snow, strong winds and poor visibility, are expected.
