Fire hydrant flow testing will begin in Mattapoisett on June 6, the Town of Mattapoisett said. Testing will begin at 8 a.m. Testing will be done at the YMCA camp on Reservation Road and at the intersection of Mendell Road and Route 6.

Discolored water may be expected in the areas subject to flow testing, but directional flushing will occur immediately following the test to fix any water quality issues.
