A walk down memory lane for ORR seniors
On Friday, June 1, members of the graduating Old Rochester Regional High School Class of 2018 once again walked the halls of their elementary schools.
The students again participated in "Senior Walk," where they spent a morning in the schools they grew up in—for Rochester residents, that was Rochester Memorial School, while Marion residents visited Sippican Elementary School. Mattapoisett residents, meanwhile, visited both Center School and Old Hammondtown School.
Senior Walk is a relatively new tradition, installed by current Old Rochester Regional High School Principal Mike Devoll.
The walk meant strolling down halls filled with cheering elementary school students, hanging out on playgrounds where the students had had recess as kids, and greeting favorite teachers from their childhoods.
