Marion Police said there were no injuries in a rear-end collision that occurred in the front parking area of a Route 6 restaurant last Thursday. However, the accident halted traffic in front of the restaurant for over an hour as Marion Police and Marion Fire Dept. cleared the scene.

The collision occurred around 4:50 p.m., July 5, in front of Rose & Vicki’s restaurant, located at 311 Wareham Road (Route 6), when one pickup truck apparently rear-ended another pickup truck, causing that vehicle to push through a railing protecting the building from just such occurrences.

Both trucks experienced damage. There is no estimate on damage to the building.
