The Marion Concert Band continues its summer concert series at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, with a program of music from the British Isles at the Robert O. Broomhead Bandstand on Island Wharf.

The program, entitled "The British Invasion,"  features several classic British brass band pieces, as well as music of The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Petula Clark, Gerry and The Pacemakers, and The Beatles.

As a bonus, there may be an appearance by members of the Cape Cod British Car Club, with their antique British vehicles.

The band is under the music direction of Tobias Monte.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Attendees are advised to bring their own chairs, blankets, insect repellents and snacks.
