To the Editor:

Thank you, Chief Garcia and the  Marion Police Department! We village residents have been longing for attention to the constant speeding through town, especially now in these busy summer days. The portable device on wheels recently purchased by the Sippican Women’s Club has worked wonders.

We have long hoped that there could be a police presence and/or devices to curb speeding .
