Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. is offering assistance to elders  in Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester  who  need help with  paying the  heat or electric bills.  

The funds will pay for gas, electric, propane, wood, or other heating needs to help  reduce the financial burden for many elders who  have difficulty with these purchases.  

Contact the Council on Aging in each town to complete a simple application.  

Each elder will receive a one-time assistance of $350.
