MATTAPOISETT — The Old Rochester Regional School District announced two new covid cases at the Old Rochester Regional High School and Junior High on Dec. 29.

Contact tracing for the cases is ongoing. Close contacts will be notified by their respective Boards of Health and are expected to quarantine. 

The positive individuals were last in the school building on Dec. 18 in the High School case and Dec. 17 in the Junior High case. No further information is known about the individuals. 

All schools will continue operating as normal following the cases. 

These are the 69th and 70th cases in the district since its Sept. reopening.
