Tri-town students honored for exam scores

Feb 18, 2022

Two Tri-Town middle school students scored high enough on their annual merit scholarship exam to receive $10,000 toward their tuition at Falmouth Academy should they choose to attend.

Addison Kostin of Marion, who attends Friends Academy in Dartmouth, and Nolan Van Keuren of Mattapoisett, a student at Bridgeview Montessori School in Sagamore, earned the honor.

The annual 90-minute exam, which was given Saturday, Jan. 22, is designed by Falmouth Academy teachers to recognize scholastic merit in areas of math, reading comprehension, and essay writing.

The grade 7-12 day school also has an extensive need-based tuition assistance program unrelated to the exam. More than 45 percent of Falmouth Academy students receive need-based tuition assistance. For more information, visit falmouthacademy.org.
