MATTAPOISETT — There will be a rabies clinic for cats and dogs at the Mattapoisett Highway Department at 5 Mendell Road from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, April 7.

The cost of vaccination is $15 per animal. 

Mattapoisett residents and nonresidents are welcome. Pets must be properly restrained. Cats should be in carriers, and dogs should be on leashes.

Town of Mattapoisett dog licenses will also be available for purchase. The license fee is $9 for spayed or neutered dogs, $12 if not.

The clinic is sponsored by the Mattapoisett Animal Hospital and the Natural Resource Department.
