MATTAPOISETT — A new Christian church is opening in Mattapoisett in July.

The Lamb of God Christian Church will serve Mattapoisett in the American Legion Hall at 3 Depot St. 

Join the church on Sundays at 4 p.m. starting July 14.

Pastor and evangelist Mathew Vangel will be leading the services. Vangel is a long-term resident of Mattapoisett and a six-year pastoral seminary student.
