The Mattapoisett Republican Town Committee monthly meeting will feature a presentation by a resident on recent and upcoming historical political events.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Niemad Facility, 57 Fairhaven Rd. The town committee serves as Mattapoisett’s source for Republican activism, according to their website.

Steve Miller recently traveled to Washington D.C. and has compiled a slideshow on three historical events. The slideshow highlights the November 2020 "Stop the Steal" rally, the January 6, 2020 election certification and the upcoming Jan. 20 Trump inauguration.

The evening will also include light snacks, a cash bar, and an opportunity for discussion.
