MATTAPOISETT — Shrove Tuesday is nicknamed “Fat Tuesday” for a reason. Mattapoisett Congregational Church is honoring the Christian tradition of eating pancakes on the Tuesday before the start of Lent with a pancake supper on Tuesday, March 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m at 27 Church Street.

Pancakes, sausage, topping and drinks will be served to attendees. 

All are welcome to attend the event and admission is free with “freewill offering” accepted to support the ministry.
