MATTAPOISETT — Have a sham-rockin’ good time at the Mattapoisett Land Trust Kids Leprechaun Loot Hike on St. Patrick’s Day.

The after-school hike will take place on Monday, March 17 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. starting at the Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. parking area on Angelica Ave.

Hikers will search for chocolate gold coins and participate in the tradition of planting peas with each attendee bringing home peas to plant at home as well.
