MATTAPOISETT — Mattapoisett is paying tribute to veterans with its annual Memorial Day event on Monday, May 26 at 1:30 p.m. at Center School.

There will be a procession from the school to the Mattapoisett Free Public Library that concludes at the wharf.

Snacks and refreshments will be available to attendees, provided by the Mattapoisett Women’s Club.

There will be music and guest speakers, as well as snacks and refreshments at the ceremonies.
