Marion man arrested following reports of exposure, performing a lewd act
CARVER — A Marion man was arrested on Friday, June 20 after Carver Police received a report of a man exposing himself and performing a lewd act on a beach at Sampson’s Pond in Carver.
John Senna, 36, was arrested and identified by Marion Police and was charged with open and gross lewdness.
Following an investigation by Carver Police, officials received an arrest warrant for Senna, who was taken into custody at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21.
Senna is expected to be arraigned Monday, June 23 in Wareham District Court.
“This case is a great example of strong collaboration between local police departments,” said Carver Police Chief Marc Duphily. “We were able to quickly identify the suspect thanks to our partners at the Marion Police Department and apprehend him following a thorough investigation.”
He continued, “Public safety remains our highest priority, and we’re committed to ensuring our community feels secure and respected.”
