Rochester police investigate car burglaries
Dec 19, 2012
With three motor vehicle burglaries in a single day, Rochester Police are urging residents to lock up their cars.
The crimes took place on December 2 on Haskell Ridge Road and the nearby Paradise Lane.
Because of the close proximity of each incident, Police Chief Paul Magee said the same person or persons most likely committed the crimes.
Magee said that in each incident, the cars were unlocked.
“The items taken were iPod cords, jewelry, and a wallet,” Magee said.
“People need to lock up their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.”
There was no damage to any of the three vehicles during the break-ins.
Magee said that his department is continuing its investigation.
