ROCHESTER — On Aug. 10 from 10:30 to noon fans of Amos the therapy dog can drop in to celebrate the dog and his owner at Plumb Library. Amos is turning 10, and will be retiring from Therapy Dogs International.

Amos and Holly have visited the library since January 2017, and have completed almost 70 visits for Plumb. Amos will be receiving a special certificate from Therapy Dogs International for this accomplishment. 

The library requests that attendees bring a thank you note or drawing reflecting a happy memory of your time with Amos to add to our collection. Gifts are welcome for both Amos and Holly. Cupcakes and lemonade will be served (while supplies last). Patrons who would like to attend should register.
