Barbara M. (Andrade) Barros, 80, of Taunton died March 6 in the Morton Hospital, Taunton. She was the widow of the late Donald Barros and the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Irene A. (Francis) Andrade.

She was born in New Bedford and lived in Marion and Falmouth before moving to Taunton.

Mrs. Barros loved her family. She enjoyed writing and listening to music, especially Jazz.

Survivors include her children, Kim Barros, Renee Barros, Desire Barros, Donald Barros, Dana Barros, Marlena Barros, Danielle Barros and Darrelle Barros; her sister, Beverly Teixeira Tubbs of Abington; her brothers, Robert Teixeira of Marion and Domingo Teixeira of Mashpee; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Visiting hours are from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
