Apr 25, 2013
A decisive win against New Bedford improved the Old Rochester Regional High School boys lacrosse record to 6-3.
The team played New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School on Wednesday, April 25 at home. They won the game 8-3.
New Bedford scored first, but the boys lacrosse team answered with a goal of its own soon after. Coach Erich Carroll credited goalie Gerald Lanagan for limiting the visitors to just three points. Carroll noted Lanagan had a total of 13 saves.
The players are two wins away from making the playoffs for a third consecutive year Carroll said.
“[Our record] could be better, it could be worse,” he noted. The team’s conference record stands at 2-2.
