The 12U Buzzards Bay Baseball team is hosting a fundraiser featuring live music, over $4,000 in raffle prizes and a cornhole tournament to raise funds for its upcoming tournament in Cooperstown, NY. 

Players from the team hail primarily from the towns of Rochester, Marion and Mattapoisett, with one player each from Bourne, Freetown and Fairhaven/Acushnet respectively. 

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 from 4 to 9 p.m. It will take place at Stone Path Malt, 11 Kendrick Road, Wareham. 

Proceeds from the event will support the team's participation in the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament in July, known as 'America's Baseball Summer Camp.' 

Admission to the event is free, and food and refreshments will be available for purchase at the venue. It is a kid-friendly event and all are welcome to attend. 

The cornhole tournament has a $20 participation fee, and cash prizes for first and second place. The tournament will start at 4 p.m., but players should plan to arrive by 3:45. Players can pre-register through the Scoreholio app — search for 'Buzzards Bay Baseball' — or on the event's website. 

The raffle prizes available include a BBQ grill, a 50'' Roku TV and gift certificates to local restaurants like Nick's Pizza, Stonebridge Bar and Grill and Minerva Pizza.
