The Cafe Parlez fiction book club at Plumb Library will discuss "Where'd You Go, Bernadette" by Maria Semple on Thursday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m.

To her Microsoft-guru husband, Bernadette's a fearlessly opinionated partner. To fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace. To design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to her 15-year-old, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom. Then Bernadette disappears.
