The Capital Planning Committee introduced two new members and one alternate to Selectmen on Tuesday night.

Former Mattapoisett School Committee and Capital Planning Committee member Gerry Johnson will return to the board.

“I wouldn’t have left except that I was on four boards at the time,” Johnson said.

Michael Dubuc, new to town, will also join the committee.

“I just wanted to become involved,” said Dubuc, who is CEO and CFO of a cranberry company.

He added that he has 15 years of business experience and has dealt with capital budgets in the past.

Bob Ball, a retired aircraft engineer, will serve as an alternate for the committee.

“I’ve been watching meetings to see what’s going on, and I thought I’d answer the call,” he said.
