The Marion Harbormaster’s Department will host the Bird Island Lighthouse Bicentennial Celebration at the Marion Music Hall at 164 Front Street on Saturday, Sept. 14 beginning at 4 p.m.

There will be music, a cash bar, small bites and desserts. All proceeds benefit the Bird Island Lighthouse Fund. The event will also have a silent auction of Bird-Island-Lighthouse-themed items, such as a signed photograph by David Zapatka and a signed print by Anthony Days.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the Marion General Store, Serendipity by the Sea, the Harbormaster’s office at the Town House and the dock office.

The Marion Harbormaster is also selling limited edition Bird Island Lighthouse Bicentennial challenge coins. They are available for $20 each, while supplies last.
