ROCHESTER — Those participating in the Massachusetts Center for the Book 2024 Reading Challenge will have an opportunity at the Joseph H. Plumb Memorial Library to celebrate their progress and talk books.

The celebration will be Thursday, Aug. 29 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Attendees can get entered into a free drawing for a Massachusetts-themed reader’s basket. There will also be food from Cheesecakes by Becky. No registration is required.

Afterwards, join the Plumb Library book group Books & Babble for its monthly meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The group will discuss “Miss Benson's Beetle” by Rachel Joyce. Refreshments will be served.
