The Rochester Country Fair will feature a pig roast BBQ at this summer’s event.

The 17th Annual Rochester Country Fair will be held Thursday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 21 at 65 Pine St. The event provides old-fashioned and agriculturally-minded entertainment for the young and young at heart.

Tazz's BBQ & Pig Roast will prepare a BBQ pork shoulder dinner that will be served on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m. The dinner will also include BBQ baked beans, potato salad and applesauce. Beverages will be available for purchase at the fair.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for $25 each. Tickets includes admission to the fair on Saturday. They may purchased at the Ponderosa, 242 Robinson Road, Acushnet, or by contacting any of the Fair Committee directly, via Facebook or by emailing rochestercountryfair@comcast.net.
