The Rochester Country Fair will host a “good old country auction” sponsored by Camara’s Auction on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. and the Fair Committee is seeking auction items.

You name it and you can sell it: antiques, farm implements, livestock, home goods, pies, furniture, tools, automotive parts and accessories, unique items, etc.

The Fair Committee is looking for both donated items and large ticket items, that are not donated. Non-donated items will be suject to a 25 percent commission charge. The committee hopes to have approximately 100 items to auction off. All purchases are cash only.

Items may be dropped off at the big tent at the fairgrounds between noon and 3 p.m. on Thursday and must be removed from that evening if not sold.

Fair admission on Thursday evening is $4. Admission for children ages 5 and under is free.
