MATTAPOISETT — The Town Clerk’s Office is requesting that residents return the Town of Mattapoisett census forms — which were mailed out in January — as soon as possible. 

Failure to respond to the census may cause residents to become listed as inactive voters. 

The annual town census is separate from the federal census which residents may have also completed recent;y. 

Included with the January census form was a dog licensing reminder. Residents who have not licensed their dogs for this year are encouraged to do so soon. 

A late fee of $10 per dog will begin on June 1.

 Payments may be made online through the Town website, by mail, through the drop box at the entrance to Town Hall, or in person. For any questions regarding the census or dog licensing, call 508-758-4100 x 2.
