MARION — Marion Fire-EMS will be hosting a fire prevention open house on Friday, Oct. 12, at 50 Spring St. 

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the open house will offer a variety of activities, including face painting and a visit from Sparky the fire dog. Pizza, ice cream, snow cones, and cotton candy will also be available. 

Various fire apparatus will be on display and offer rides. The event ends with a live fire display at 7:45 p.m.
