Friends of Mattapoisett Bike Path launch new programs
The Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path have announced two new initiatives for resident and visiting bicyclists.
The “Bike Friendly Mattapoisett Map” will be available at the Friends' Harbor Days booth. Sponsored by 29 local businesses, this waterproof and durable map details the best biking roads in the tri-town. The Friends ask for a $5 donation. All proceeds go to the Bike Path project. After Harbor Days, the map will be available throughout town.
Also available during Harbor Days for purchase is the Bike-Friendly Rewards Card. The program will fund bike racks around town. The $25 donation will help buy and install bike racks. Card holders will receive discounts at No Kidding, Isabelle's, Mattapoisett Mailboxes, The Hollywood Scoop, Hair Unlimited, Mattapoisett Laundrymat, Gail’s Goodies, Mattapoisett Self Storage, How On Earth, Fischer and Rocha, and more.
