MARION — School’s out! Enjoy Elizabeth Taber Library’s free Summer Reading Kickoff event on Saturday, June 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Lawn and inflatable games, carnival food, live music from local funk band Get the Funk Out and  “creative activities” from the Marion Natural History Museum.

Attendees will also be able to sign up for the library’s summer reading program at the event, which is free and for all ages
