Old Rochester Regional Junior High School principal Kevin Brogioli has been announced as one of the newest inductees into Wareham High School's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Brogioli led the team for 17 years, notching over 300 wins and 11 South Coast Conference titles.

Brogioli took over the principal's seat at the junior high in 2010, but remained Wareham's boys' basketball coach for several years.

He celebrated his 300th win in January 2015, and stepped down as head coach in May of that year. Brogioli took over the head coaching job after the 1998-99 season, at the retirement of his father, noted coach Jim Brogioli. Jim coached the Wareham Vikings from 1971 to 1997.

From 1976-1979, Kevin Brogioli played on the team, coached by his father.

Kevin also served as assistant coach to the Wareham Vikings for 14 years prior to stepping into his father's shoes.

Combining Kevin's career wins with with Jim's (who earned 404 wins over the course of his coaching career) the pair became one of the winningest father-son coaching duos in state history. They are the only father-and-son duo to to achieve over 300 wins at the same school in Massachusetts high school basketball history.

In total, Brogioli achieved 313 wins, helped earn Wareham High School a state championship in 2010, and qualified for the postseason 16 out of the 17 years that he was coach.

Brogioli and other inductees will be honored at a ceremony set for Nov. 25 in the Rosebrook Convention Center. Ticket information will be announced at a later date.
