On Jan. 19, the Old Rochester Regional High School girls basketball team lost 36-17 to the visiting Dartmouth Indians. In the hard-fought contest, the Lady Bulldogs showed improvement from their last meeting with Dartmouth, which they lost 61-34.

In this game, the Bulldogs focused on defense, fighting for every loose ball and rebound. The Bulldogs scored first on a three-point shot by Kaleigh Goulart, but were unable to keep up the momentum. The Division 3 Bulldogs pulled within four points numerous times, but could never get closer than that to the Division 1 Indians.

The team’s next game is Tuesday, Jan. 21 at home against Apponequet.
