MARION — Ever wondered what goes on 1000 feet below the surface of the ocean? Benjamin Grassian of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will fill you in on Friday, Nov. 8 at “Mysteries of the Midwater” hosted by the Marion Natural History Museum.

Grassian is a postdoctoral investigator working with imaging and data collected during a project in the Ocean Twilight Zone, which is an area of the ocean around 1000 feet deep.

He will be talking about migration habits for different organisms found in the twilight zone.

The event will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A $10 donation towards the museum is suggested.

Register to attend at marionmuseum.org.
