MATTAPOISETT — Join local cartoonist LJ-Baptiste for a character design and comics workshop Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.

The “Comics For All” class will cover the basics of bringing expressive, unique characters and stories to life through sequential art.

No experience is necessary, and no registration is required. The class is recommended for ages 12 and up.

Attendees to the “engaging” workshop will receive a free book, a news release said.
