Local director to screen short film in Marion

MARION — The Marion Music Hall will host a free screening of director Anita Allison’s short film Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.

The film, “Cuffe: Taxed” follows Paul Cuffe, a Black and Wampanoag mariner, on a supply run through a British blockade. “Paul Cuffe Is Me,” an accompanying music video, will also be shown at the screening.
