The Marion Fireworks Fundraising Committee is continuing its efforts to bring fireworks back to town this Fourth of July. The bidding process has started, but the final costs associated with the event will not be known until all bids have been received.

So far the committee has raised more than $38,000 toward the goal of $50,000.

Limited Edition t-shirts are being sold as part of the fundraising effort. They are available at the Marion Recreation office at 13 Atlantis Drive, Hangman Coffee Hut, Lighthouse Liquors, and in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Marion Town House.
