MARION — On Wednesday, May 14, Marion resident Shaun Miranda, a horticulture senior at Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School, received the Dolema D. “Dolly” Carmen Memorial Award for demonstrating exceptional compassion and concern for others.

Miranda received the award during the school’s annual Evening of Excellence, which is a celebration of the accomplishments, dedication and hard work of the graduating class.
